When Las Vegas singer Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, the police disguise her as a nun and hide her in a convent in order to protect her.

Deloris makes a most unconventional nun, often finding ways to break out of her newly imposed habits. Deciding to put her musical talents to good use, Deloris sets out to improve the convent's choir. The result is something far from what her uptight Mother Superior expects. The powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing, and truly moving story in this musical will leave audiences inspired, elated and calling for more.

Alan Menken is the composer of previous BTC musicals including Little Shop of Horrors and Disney's Beauty and the Beast as well as many other well known Disney shows including Aladdin and The Little Mermaid.
