 They work in a run down flower shop in Skid Row, which lacks customers so is due to be closed. Seymour decides to feature a carnivorous plant as the focus of its window display. The plant has mysterious powers, suddenly attracting patrons, popularity, prestige, praise and prosperity for the shop.

There's only one problem. The plant seeks world domination.
