It Takes A Woman,
Put On Your Sunday Clothes,
Before the Parade Passes By,
Elegance,
It Only Takes a Moment

and of course the title song
Hello Dolly

were just a few of the musical numbers
that were sure to delight audiences at
the latest colourful and spectacular
Broxbourne Theatre Company show.

Based on Thornton Wilder's farce The Matchmaker,
the original Broadway show received ten Tony awards
including Best Musical. It had two Broadway revivals
with a total of 3754 performances. The title song
even dislodged the Beatles from their long running
number one position in the 1964 American charts.
